講起「香港人」，突然令我諗起之前遇過嘅一位白人婆婆
白人婆婆源自俄羅斯，中國出生但係香港長大，金髮藍眼的她任誰都會覺得一定係歐美英澳。
澳洲係醫院睇醫生前需要填個人資料，白人婆婆填咗background做「Chinese」。
起初大家都好疑惑點解會填Chinese，更有同事覺得婆婆係咪delirium/delusion。
問診期間婆婆講咗一句
「I don’t understand you people, if you Asians were born and raised in Australia, you call yourselves Australian. But somehow when white people were born and raised in China or Hong Kong, they can’t call themselves Chinese?」
「我唔明白你地，當你地亞洲人係澳洲出生長大時，就會叫自己澳洲人，但點解係中國或香港出生長大嘅白人，就唔可以叫自己華人？」
當刻我驚覺，其實一路以來我地都將「香港人」同典型黑髮黃皮膚亞洲人面孔掛鉤。但其實define「香港人」嘅，唔係你頭髮、眼睛同皮膚嘅顏色，而係你擁抱嘅價值同相信嘅理念。
白人婆婆金髮藍眼透白嘅皮膚，係香港土生土長，一口流利嘅廣東話同國語，對香港近年發展同時事瞭如指掌，擁抱香港精神嘅白人婆婆比唔少黑髮黑眼黃皮膚嘅人更加「香港」
奧運四年一度，我地見到愛爾蘭混血嘅何詩蓓為香港贏咗一面奧運銀牌、打破亞洲紀錄，為世人展視了香港人嘅實力，實為香港嘅驕傲。
但其實奧運外，香港都有唔少「非亞裔」嘅「香港人」，往往因為佢地嘅髮色同膚色而唔被視為香港嘅一份子。
「香港人」其實並唔存在地域或膚地嘅界限，只要你心愛香港，擁抱香港嘅精神，無論你係世界邊個地方，你都係

And then u think, why aren't they in Aust eating as many local Lobsters 🦞. Which are mostly exported to China, or served in Chinese restaurants. But now we are getting a fair share of it in Hong Kong too, due to the China exportation boycott. Australian Lobsters are actually 1 of the best in the world u can find ❤️❤️🌎😋

Why yes I do like modelling
I originally planned to talk about why I like my job and the positive factors of the industry, but I got a bit sidetracked lol
Asian diaspora is something that's very close to my heart and a topic that my friends and I have constantly discussed between ourselves for years. I think many of us have underlying, unresolved feelings - be it positive or negative - regarding our childhood and parents despite it not being a popular topic in mainstream media.
I hope it doesn't seem like I'm "airing out my (family's) laundry" or so by posting this; I just wish to share with my fellow first gens and Asians that your hardship and feelings are perfectly valid as personally, I felt that a lot of my teenage years were full of undirected anger.

六年後，因為疫情我提早回到台灣（2020 3月)，而這一年又回到台灣住，有了些新的發現相比六、七年前的台灣：）裡面總共有六點，大家仔細看完吧：）！！！對了，我想先講到前頭，我顯然不是abc，但這六、七年的居住在澳洲，我和很多當地的人相處包括華裔澳洲人，也包括我自己的家人（她們是完全土生土長的abc＝Australian Born Chinese）所以我才做這些結論關於台灣的“abc” (有夠討厭：）哈哈哈 希望你們喜歡：）

In this episode, we went back to Neo’s Kitchen to cook up a respectable Abalone platter. You guys always ask what I eat on a normal day so I hope this video gives you some insight into my off-days. New Moon kindly sent over many different types of Abalone, Organic SuperRice and Bird’s Nest for me to make a meal with. I consumed the following:
1. Thai Mango Salad with Australian Wild Caught Abalone
2. Chinese stir-fry with Premium New Zealand Abalone
3. Sambal Petai with Mexican Abalone
4. Olive Fried Rice made with Organic SuperRice and South African Abalone
5. Abalone Sashimi using Individually Quick Frozen (IQF) Australian Abalone
6. Bird’s Nest with White Fungus Rock Sugar
All the abalone required minimum preparation except for the IQF ones, which need to be washed and cleaned thoroughly before consumption. The Organic SuperRice comes with 4 different types of rice and is easily cooked with no soaking needed. Abalone is high in protein with almost no fat and carbohydrates, making it very good for those who want to lose weight and build muscle. For someone who works out regularly, it is an excellent source of protein while being low in calories.
This meal is basically what I eat on a normal day, in between challenges. New Moon’s canned Abalone are easy to use in any dishes you can think of while being nutritious, making them an asset in your pantry.
